RocketSports is looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our close-knit and extremely talented team. We’re experienced, disciplined and ambitious about building a quality product which brings delight to our users, whilst running World class sports events to help grow the visibility of the RocketSports brand.
We’re looking for self-starters with the ability to take on a range of very hard and intriguing challenges: from planning and implementing world-class high quality events, to dealing with sponsors and raising money to support the event.
For you, this presents an opportunity to develop a key role within a team that is growing rapidly.
What we’re looking for…
- Proven experience running events, from initiation, concept and planning to actually running the event with a hands on approach.
- Perfect English.
- Ability to deal with senior level management of blue chips when dealing with sponsorship to managing and dealing with junior level volunteers.
- Ability to manage people at an event.
- Entrepreneurial flair, willing to throw in ideas to make the events World class.
- Personable, determined and confident.
- Participated in sporting events previously, so used to the process.
- Computer literate.
A big plus would be experience with…
- The running of sports events previously.
- Use of Social Media effectively to promote events with a successful track record.
- Any sales and marketing experience generally.
A love of sports is a bonus!
